This little guy came to see me today and he was sooooo sweet! All 5 pounds of him!!! I thought this session was going to be a breeze because he was so tiny… he’d be super flexible and easy to mold, right?!? …. uh…. think again, photographer girl!!! He was soooo strong! I couldn’t even believe how much he fought me to pose him and how strong his little legs and arms were! He may be little, but he was a HUGE 5lbs!

I had a beautiful family come to see me this weekend and I had lots of fun shooting them! The little one was just such a sweetie and really… check out her smile!! And the older girl was just gorgeous! I think I could have taken pictures of her all day!! She’s a ballerina and just loves dance so she had tons of fun poses for me!

Can’t get enough of my little newborns… had another one!! And this little guy was just so perfect in every way! The hair on him was just amazing and he slept so soundly during all my poses and irritations! I was so happy to have this family back in my studio (the maternity shoot is here) as they are just so awesome and the love they have for this little guy is just the sweetest thing ever… it honestly warmed my heart.
Big congrats to you A and B… he’s beautiful! Can’t wait to see you all again very soon!

I got to photograph this little angel today at 13 days old and what a little beauty she is! Just look at pretty and delicate she is… no mistaking that this one is a sweet baby girl!

I did such a fun wedding this weekend out at Granville Island. They rented a boat and got married on the water and then we cruised around Vancouver for the remainder of the night… how FUN!!!
Anyways, I’ve known the groom since high school and just love the bride he chose. She’s sweet and loving and I’m so glad they make each other so happy! Congrats D and J! It was a wonderful night!!
We had very little time to shoot the formals as we had to be back to the boat but we stopped by Stanley Park for a quick visit and got to take a couple shots while the rain died off!
My version of the “ring shot”!!! LOL
Poor guy totally took a beating during the speeches!!
Uhoh… check out the positioning of her fingers… doesn’t look like good to me!!!
Nope!! It wasn’t!!!
And she didn’t walk away unscathed either!!
BUT… a few moments later for the first dance, all had been forgotten and they were back in love!

Welcome Baby M!!! Today little M came to see me in my studio and we had so much fun together…. ok, so maybe I just had fun with her! LOL But look how very sweet she is!!! Here is mom’s maternity shoot for those of you who are pondering my New Beginnings package ( or Once Upon a Time for all you La Storia Studios followers!!). I am taking bookings for 2009 due dates starting October 1st, so be sure to book early. This year, I was booking 6 months in advance for the New Beginnings packages!
Anyways, thank you so much R family for coming out again! It was great to see you and so wonderful to meet your new addition… she is just perfect!!

Hi everyone!
Some of you may know that I am fully booked for the rest of 2008 and have been since July. Of course that’s thanks to all of you, my wonderful clients, for supporting me in this passion of mine!
I just wanted to give you all the heads up that bookings for La Storia Studios in 2009 will open as of October 1st. Keep in mind that as of January 1st 2009, I will be working mainly on maternity, birth and newborn photography and my wonderful partner in crime, Shannon, will be completing most of the child, family and headshot work.
Anyways, just wanted to let you all know first to give you the “first dibs” on 2009 bookings!
